Chevrolet Volt

I noticed quite a few used / nearly new Chevrolet Volt’s on the market and thought I would investigate. As Chevy are leaving Europe as a brand you would have thought the few remaining Volt’s would be cleared off for little money just to get rid of them, not so ! I have been quoted anything from over £25K to £18k for USED cars !!. Sorry but my body has yet to be taken over by aliens so no deal. Some even refused to do a PCP as their financiers don’t wish to underwrite the residual values. I was going to visit a large car vendor in Burnley today but called ahead first only to discover the five Volts they have on site do not exist !, the rep was the one who said they cannot PCP Volts anymore. Another in Manchester has a used Volt at a more realistic price and could do a PCP as could one in Lincolnshire …but he was asking virtually full book price for their demonstrator with 7k on the clock, get real guys I want to lease a car for a few years not buy the whole garage. Anyway the quest forges forward, I really like the look of the Volt its the Vauxhall Ampera without the odd looking front, very US in its external styling and, well I just like the look of it and could see myself running on of these for the next few years until the new, higher powered batteries arrive along with a new generation of EV’s.  If anyone spots a decent deal on a new or nearly new Volt do let me know please !
